Dance Contempra's Centre for Dance Education is home to Evolving Pointe Ensemble, a non-profit 501(c)(3) performance dance group founded in October 2003.  Our focus is to provide cultural enrichment in the arts, specifically dance, through community outreach performances.  Performances include two annual "recitals" with a winter show which has included the "Nutcracker", "The Grinch...A Contemporary Ballet" and in December of 2007 will Premiere "Babes in Toyland".  The spring show is typically presented in "Concert Dance" format but has also included story book ballets such as "Cinderella".  Company members also do several performances between the two major shows within the school year.  Evolving Pointe Ensemble presently sponsors FREE Master Classes for company members as well as all in the dance community.  The company sponsors renowned dance artists to teach a guest class and advertises the class in local papers and on its website.  Artist to date have included Christopher Fairbank (former principal dancer with ABT II), Armando Luna (principal dancer with Atlanta Ballet) and Peter Poulos (former principal dancer with Kris Kangelosi).
