Studio Closure Policy
The dance studio will be closed on days when there is no school due to inclement weather or a major holiday.
Please note the following closure dates.
Labor Day……………………September 1,

Thanksgiving………………….November 24-28, 2008
Semester Break……………....December
19, 2008-January 5, 2009
Winter Break……………........February
16-20, 2009
Spring Break…………………April 6-10, 2009
Memorial Day………………...May
25, 2009
Tuition is based on the number
of classes per year and not on the number of classes per month. The above Holidays are accounted for.
Attendance & Make-up
Policy
Please be respectful by being on time and ready to begin class. Regular attendance is essential to
proper development. Absences may be made up in a class of the same subject and age group during the same month of absence,
unless otherwise given permission by the instructor. Please note that during recital time make-up policy may not apply.
No refunds will be given for classes missed. Excessive absenteeism during recital time may result in removal from
class if the instructor feels it has hindered the progress of the class. Please understand that it is not Dance
Contempra’s desire to take said action, however, we must do so in extreme circumstances in order to protect all involved.
If a costume for said class has been ordered no refund will be given. If costume fee has not been paid in full, Parent/Guardian
is still responsible for payment of the costume. The student will receive the costume when the costume order arrives.
We would appreciate especially
during recital time that all abscenses are called in by a parent/guardian prior to class time.
Please understand that children
tend to do better without distractions. Dance Contempra graciously invites you to observe the last class of every
month from September through January. After January no exceptions will be allowed unless permission has been granted
by the instructor.
